1. Grand Opening Party for Ashtanga Yoga School of Buenos Aires, November 14th

3. Teachers needed in Philadelphia
A new Ashtanga yoga center planning to open in Philadelphia, PA's Old City section is looking for an experienced, authorized or certified Ashtanga/Mysore teacher to work with an existing Mysore community. We plan to make the studio a traditional yoga shala with a nurturing environment. The studio will be housed in a beautiful 1750 sq. ft. ground floor space on a charming historical street. 5. Ashtanga in Rwanda Fundraising Event - Help Raise $1,000,000 in 100 Days!
The yoga community internationally is being asked to come together in an unprecedented effort to raise $1,000,000 in 100 days. The online campaign is being organized to support the work of Project Air, the only organization in the world that uses Ashtanga to help girls and women overcome the devastating effects of genocidal rape, sexual violence and HIV/AIDS. For its innovative work, Project Air is the first yoga initiative ever to win formal endorsement by the UN. The 100-day fundraiser will run online from now until the beginning of February 2010. Donate now to make a difference!
