Adele Petrossi - Personal Biography

Adele Petrossi encountered Ashtanga yoga during her busy working years as a nurse in 1994. Her first teachers were Lino Miele and Tina Pizzimenti.

Enthusiastic and passionate about the Ashtanga discipline, Adele participated in several of Lino Miele's workshops and retreats. Lino Miele is now her only teacher. Thousands of practices later, in 2011, Adele was recognized to teach by the Ashtanga Yoga Research Institute, Rome, having completed the in-depth study with Lino Miele.

In 2008, Adele started teaching Ashtanga yoga herself in various associations until 2013, when she opened up a yoga shala of her own situated in Castelli Romani (Rome). Every year, she still travels to India to stay with her teacher both as his student and as his assistant in the yoga shala in Kovalam.
